Clarity privacy policy
The short version: Clarity itself collects nothing about you, and your progress stays on your phone. Clarity shows ads from Google AdMob (some of them supplied by Unity Ads), and those ad networks collect some device data to show them.

Clarity: Water Sort Puzzle is a puzzle game for Android made by DevRocks, a sole proprietorship in India. Questions about this page go to devrocksapps@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
Nothing. Clarity has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics service, no crash-reporting service and no in-app purchases. We, DevRocks, receive no data about you. The only data that leaves your phone is what the ads SDKs send to Google and Unity, described in section 2.
2. Ads
Clarity shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner below the puzzle, a full-screen ad now and then when a new level loads (more often in later levels, never in the middle of a puzzle), and optional videos you can choose to watch for a hint, extra undo steps or a boost. The Daily Challenge and Unmix never show ads.
To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects your device's advertising ID, your IP address and an approximate location derived from it, device and app information (model, Android version, app version, language), and information about ad interactions and app performance. Google handles this data under its own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Through AdMob mediation, some of these ads may come from Unity Ads (Unity Technologies), which receives the same kind of device and ad interaction data to show and measure its ads: Unity privacy policy.
What ads you may see. Ads in Clarity are limited to content suitable for general audiences. The ad networks choose each ad, not us. If you see an ad that is offensive or misleading, tell us at the address above; we can block advertisers and categories.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Clarity asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. Saying no doesn't lock any part of the game. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Google → Ads). We do not sell personal information.
3. What is kept on your phone
So that you don't lose your place, Clarity saves the following in its own private storage on your device:
- Progress
- Which levels you have finished, stars and best move counts, a level you left part-way through, finished daily puzzles and Unmix puzzles, milestones, the look you chose, and any undo steps and hints you have saved.
- Settings
- Sound, text size, reduced motion, pattern contrast and similar choices.
- Ad pacing
- When ads were last shown, so the game can keep to its own limits on how often you see them.
- Play counts and error reports
- Simple counts of game events (for example "level finished") and a short record of any crash. These stay on your phone: Clarity has no server to send them to.
None of it identifies you, and none of it is sent anywhere. To remove all of it, clear Clarity's storage in Android settings (Apps → Clarity → Storage → Clear storage) or uninstall Clarity.
4. Permissions
- Internet and network state
- Used only by the ads SDKs to load ads. The game itself works offline.
- Advertising ID
- Added by the ads SDKs to show and measure ads (see section 2).
5. Children
Clarity is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Grievances
Complaints and questions about privacy go to the Grievance Officer, Suba R, DevRocks, at devrocksapps@gmail.com. We reply within 7 days. See Contact.
7. Changes to this policy
If a future version of Clarity changes any of the above — for example by adding cloud save, purchases or an analytics service — this page will be updated before that version is released, with a new date at the top.
